•Jaguar Worship: Exhibition of Mexican Ancient Civilization

This book was put together quite carefully to accompany the exhibition
of “Jaguar Worship: Exhibition of Mexican Ancient Civilization”.
This book presents 81 pieces of the “Jaguar” theme from the
cultural heritages, and some dresses and masks used for jaguar-worship
rituals presented in the exhibition. Each piece is accompanied by English
and Chinese explanation and a detailed introduction in Chinese. The pictures
and text complement each other.

on display. It provides an introduction to the seven exhibitions of fine
artistic collection in the Capital Museum, including the “Exhibition
of Fine Artistic Collection of Ancient Paintings”, “Exhibition
of Fine Artistic Collection of Ancient Calligraphy”, “Exhibition
of Fine Collection of Ancient Beijing Bronze Art”, “Exhibition
of Fine Artistic Collection of Ancient Jade Ware”, “Exhibition
of Fine Artistic Collection of Gadgets of Studies”, “Exhibition
of Fine Artistic Collection of Ancient Chinaware” and “Exhibition
of Fine Artistic Collection of Ancient Buddha Statues”. Each book
records the important cultural heritages for the appropriate exhibition,
in order to display the special points of Beijing’s longstanding
history and its cultural characteristics.
•A Collection of the Artistic Works of Qi Baishi
•Beijing Publishing House, 2005
•This book was published for the “Exhibition of Master Qi
Baishi’s Art” which was firstly held after the new Capital
Museum was constructed. It includes 285 paintings, calligraphy works and
seal engravings by Qi Baishi from different stages in his life. The pieces
are divided into ten themes, with the items in each theme arranged in
chronological order. The book introduces the accomplishments Qi Baishi
made in the art world through his life. It is a piece with academic and
reference value.
•Treasures of the World’s Cultures –the British Museum
after 250 Years (Popular Edition)
Cultural Relics Publishing House, 2006
This book was the popular book for the exhibition of “Treasures
of the World’s Cultures –the British Museum after 250 Years”
held by the Capital Museum. The book records more than 100 of the important
artifacts which were presented in this exhibition, and uses common and
easy-to-understand language along with clear photographs to draw readers
into the culture world of the objects on display.

This book was published to supplement the exhibition of “Treasures
of the World’s Cultures –the British Museum after 250 Years”.
The book contains the entire 272 pieces which were presented in the exhibition
and organizes them into 13 different categories according to a plan based
on date and cultural elements. The book covers various periods in human
history, along with their main cultural conditions. It is filled with
rare artifacts and shows off the aggregation and wide variegation in human
culture.
